Cookie policy
Revision: June 2026 — DRAFT, pending legal review (#403). Informative only; not the final, binding text.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (first-party browser storage and third-party scripts) used on the lapromos.io corporate website (lapromos.io), drawn up following the Spanish Data Protection Agency’s (AEPD) Guide on the use of cookies. It does not cover the promotion landing pages our customers (agencies) run, which each declare their own policy.
2. Strictly necessary
These are always on because the site cannot work without them and they do not track you across sites; no consent is required. We store your cookie choice first-party in your browser (a localStorage entry named “lp_cookie_consent”, kept until you clear it) to remember your decision. We use Cloudflare for content delivery and security and Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form to tell humans from bots; Turnstile may set its own strictly-necessary token (session-lifetime) to run the challenge. Your locale and theme preference, if set, are also stored first-party.
3. Analytics (consent required)
If you allow analytics, we may load aggregate measurement tags (e.g. Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager; cookies such as _ga, lasting up to ~2 years, and _ga_* / _gid) to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and improve it. Purpose: audience measurement and site improvement. These do not run until you opt in; while analytics consent is withheld, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics requests are sent.
4. Marketing (consent required)
If you allow marketing, we may load personalisation and campaign-measurement tags (e.g. advertising pixels via Google Tag Manager) to measure campaigns and show relevant content. Purpose: campaign measurement and personalisation. Duration depends on each provider (typically up to ~13 months). These do not run until you opt in, and none are set while marketing consent is withheld.
5. Consent model (Consent Mode v2)
Consent is granular and off by default: analytics and marketing are denied until you actively choose “Accept” or enable them in “Preferences”, and rejecting is as easy as accepting (no pre-ticked boxes). We apply Google Consent Mode v2, so tags load only after the matching consent signal. Your choice is recorded first-party in your browser, not in an advertising cookie.
6. Managing or withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which re-opens the preferences banner. Withdrawal takes effect immediately for future page loads and stops the corresponding tags from loading. You can also clear cookies and site data from your browser settings; clearing the stored choice will make the banner ask again.
7. More information
For how we process personal data, see our Privacy policy. For questions about this cookie policy, contact [email protected]. As this is a draft pending legal review (#403), please treat it as informative and not as the final, binding text.
